About the Event
I Was Asked to Stand lecture educates and empowers the participants to understand the cause and possible solutions to the disparity in the lack of representation, documentation, and acknowledgement of the great works of women and diverse designers. The presentation focuses on the history of the problems, how we can proactively change our profession, and future aspiration to continue the fight for equality.
